Upendra Yadav is a Nepalese politician and chairman of the Madhesi Jana Adhikar Forum, However, no criminal charges were ever filed against Upendra yadav or other leaders or activists of the party. Before creating the Forum, Upendra Yadav was a Maoist cadre. Upendra Yadav also worked as a school teacher in Jaycee Bal Sadan Secondary School, Biratnagar before joining the politics.
Participated in unified people’s movement of 1989 (B.S 2046) and imprisoned for three months in Dhankuta Jail.Resigned from Nepal Communist Party of Nepal in 1997 (B.S 2054) and established Madheshee Janadhikar Forum, Nepal (Madheshee People’s Rights Forum) for establishing the Rights of Madheshee and Deprived communities of Nepal.Conveyed the first National Convention of Madheshee Janadhikar Forum, Nepal in 2003 (BS 2060) in Biratnagar
