India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed sorrow at the loss of lives in the violence in Tikapur on Monday and extended his condolences to the families of the deceased and the people of Nepal.
According to the statement released by India’s Ministry of External Affairs, Modi telephoned Prime Minister Sushil Koirala today to express concern that political and social instability would seriously compound the tragedy caused by the recent earthquake in Nepal.
